Hreat sander

I love the DeWalt quality and that's why I checked them out first. This is the first sander of this style and found it very easy to replace paper and light weight enough to easily use. Lowe's made ordering and shipping to my house very easy. Love this product.

Great sander

This sander should last a lifetime if you use it properly. Always use the paper punch to punch the holes in the sandpaper. This allows the dust collection to work properly and also promotes air flow which inhibits sawdust buildup that causes premature wear.

Longevity

The sander appears to work the same as my old sander; the attachment of the paper is weak at best; the plastic clips that hold the metal tangs appear weak. The big question of how long this lasts is the big value question now. Tens years plus I am "hoping" for; my dewalt drill has exceeded that.

Amazing sander

I got this one to replace a Porter Cable that I had for a few years. I am so happy with the power of this one, it zips through every job I have done so far.

Died after less than 2 hours use.

I bought this sander yesterday. It worked great while it lasted, but after less than 2 hours use, the motor died. Returning it to Lowe's today.
