for the price you can't beat it. stands a little flimsy but personally didn't care I'll make one. make my own lumber and cut through 3 in thick slabs oak,cherry, walnut etc no problem. and a lot of it. easy to use and get set up. not really gonna find a better portable table saw. especially at the price

Great table saw....useless stand

Would Recommend

The table saw is very nice. Very accurate cuts right out of the box. The stand is way too short. I’m 6’2” and cannot use the stand. If your 5’2” you might be able to use it. Only 4 stars because of stand. The saw is 5 stars.

Compact saw that works better than larger saws

I had to down size my shop when we moved. First to go was my large, Rigid belt drive table saw. I replaced it with this compact saw/stand combo and a Dewalt sliding, compound miter saw. This saw is a gem. It was square right out of the box and I was ripping plywood within 30 minutes. The fence system on this is better than my $500 Rigid and, when I need a little more room in the shop, it's a cinch to pick up and move to the side. I did replace the blade with a fine cut blade for cleaner cuts. No...

Okay at best

Would Not Recommend

The stand is the main issue I had, as it was unstable and unsteady from the point of purchase. Great for someone setting it up for stationary use, but portable? Forget about it. And to top it off at month 4 of ownership, the table guide would no longer lock and would unlock by itself just when ever.

Bad Miter Gauge

Would Recommend

This saw is great for the money. The only problem I have found so far is that the miter gauge doesn’t ‘lock’ in place at the degree you want. While making a few 45 degree cuts, I’ve checked the gauge and it seems to shift a few degrees if you aren’t sure the gauge isn’t completely tight. Also with the miter gauge, the channel it slides into isn’t beveled to keep the gauge stuck in place. Overall great saw, just a few things wrong with the miter gauge.
