What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the saw for delivering clean, accurate cuts and quiet operation, with many highlighting the sturdy cast-iron table, steel extension wings, and portable design as standout features. The fence is frequently called precise once properly aligned, and most users report professional-grade results after minor adjustments. However, a notable minority report serious motor failures within months or years of use, and some experience initial blade or riving knife misalignment requiring manual adjustment. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it the best value option in its class and recommend it for hobbyist and light professional work.

I purchased this saw in January of 2019 and within 2 years the motor started acting up. Sounded like it was going to fly all to pieces every time I turned it on. Plus it bogs down when I try to cut anything thicker than 1/4”. They referred me to a repair shop that works on small engines…the only repair shop in the state of North Carolina. I’m sure this guy does fine work but I was not impressed when he said he would have to make room for my saw in his repair shop. I’ve purchased Delta tools...

Delta's Service Is Terrible
Would not recommend this product. I've had my saw for less than two years. It has been in for warranty work twice. The "service center" wants to charge $500 for additional parts that are "not covered". I will never buy Delta again.
Broke after 1 year!!
This table saw was great until it wasn’t. It was a year and a half from date of purchase that the belt and pulley broke. Seems simple enough, until you try to get replacement parts or take it in for service anywhere. Good luck!!! The parts are coming from Taiwan and they will take several months to get to you IF they can even get them at all. So I basically paid 600.00 for a disposable saw. Complete garbage.
You are getting what you pay for
I have used this saw for about 18 months. It works but it is an underpowered saw and I am replacing it. This saw will trip often and you will have to wait to reset it after everything cools down. The fence is decent and you can get reliable results. It is pretty good for a table saw for under $1000. If you are going to use it daily I would recommend you save your money and buy something better. It would work for the user who needs light use and wants to save some money. Good at first...
I purchased this saw about 2 years ago. It worked well for about 6 months and then started having intermittent trouble with motor start up. 1 month ago the saw started running slowly and smoking. I disassembled it and opened the motor housing to find it packed with saw dust. I took the motor to a local shop who found that the motor was shot. Come to find out a replacement motor is a few hundred dollars more then a new saw. I will be spending a little more money and purchasing a grizzly saw...
Better Than Good
I do a lot of wood working projects, from cabinetry, to turnings, to toys and gifts. I've used this saw for about 6 years now and I think I can safely say I know my way around it. First thing I did was ditch the 'horrible' stand. I came up with a DIY stand that not only supports the table but extends out over the extension side (right side) of the table, which I also added a table top to the extension. The DIY stand has collapsible wheel supports that pull up when the saw is stationary. But,...
Solid and well buildTable Saw
I went to Lowes two weeks ago because the jobsite table saw I had been using decided to stop working in the middle of a project. I had been saving up to buy a cabinet saw, but still have a ways to go. I knew that they carried a smaller Delta saw (great brand) and I went and picked one up. It wasn't difficult to assemble, but man is it heavy! The wheel base is amazing and definitely helps with mobility in a small shop. Personally I would say that this is a hybrid saw, not a contractor saw. ...
Great workhorse for the shop.
I work almost exclusively with hardwoods, and a lot of really hard exotics. This saw has had zero issues devouring the various woods, running 12/4 hard maple with ease. This saw was the result of a lot research on saws in this price range, and has more than proven a quality design and decision. My only complaint with this saw is the dust collection, but I can live with it all else considered.
would never own a delta table saw again.
10 month old table and the motor burned up. Delta tech support is worthless. So i had to buy differnt brand of table. Hope they will replace my motor. As the saws have 5 year warranty
