DAP Vinyl Spackling is a ready mixed, easy-to-use patching material used to fill holes and cracks and treat surfaces prior to painting. The vinyl spackling paste has a smooth working consistency and sands easily. Spackling compound is recommended for interior use only.

Wall patch is ideal for filling holes, cracks and defects on drywall
Wall repair sands easily and resists cracking
Dries in 3 to 6 hours depending on temperature and relative humidity and depth of fill
For repairs deeper than 1/8”, apply two or more layers allowing spackling to dry between applications
Features convenient ready-to-use patching compound formula
Spackling is paintable with latex or oil based paint after completely dry
Ideal for interior wall repair projects
Clean tools immediately with water after use

Absolutely the worst spackling ever. Would not even stick to the putty knife. Mixed and mixed it, but to no avail. I tried using it anyway, but it took way more time than it should have to spread then sand. Also, very grainy, leaving lots of small pockets. Dap's DryDex is eon's ahead of their Vinyl Spackling. DryDex requires no mixing, spreads like butter, and dries quickly. Best I've ever used. The Vinyl Spackling truly is worthless and should be removed from the Dap lineup. But three cheer...
