DAP Wall Spray Texture Knockdown Water Based is an easy to use aerosol for targeted wall repairs that provides excellent texture match with included straw or layering application techniques. Quick repair spray texture in a white finish and a non sag formula has strong wall adhesion. Product won’t crumble when painted and does not require priming. The grip trigger offers full hand control for an ergonomic spray. Easily create a knockdown texture effect by holding a putty knife parallel to the wall or ceiling to lightly flatten knockdown to desired texture and dipping putty knife into water between each knockdown. Complete this process immediately for fine applications, 30 secs-1 minute for medium applications and 1-2 minutes for heavy applications. Fast dry time of 30 minutes. Works as a spray texture for walls to repair textured surfaces on drywall, stucco, and plaster. Use for texture repairs and touch ups including fixture removal, small hole,s and minor repairs. Before applying, shake vigorously for one minute after mixing ball rattles in a variety of directions including upside down. Next, tear off top safety tab and select application method based on desired texture (straw is used for fine texture). Spray by pushing on lower portion of trigger keeping the can 12 to 18 inches from the surface. Works on Interior/Exterior surfaces.

Interior/exterior knockdown water based wall texture is low odor and cleans easily with water
To knockdown, hold putty knife parallel to surface and lightly flatten to desired look, dip knife in water between each knockdown

Easy and effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for review and I was pretty excited because it came at a time where I am doing lots of repairs and renovations on my home and I just so happened to have the knock down plaster walls. I removed some built in cabinets and there was a lot of damage behind them and just lack of finishing so I filled the holes with spackle and sanded and then applied this product to blend in all the new work and it looks great. Easy alternative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had a whole in my ceiling where a hook has pulled out. Rather than mixing up mud or using spackling I saw this. It's definitely simple and can be used without wasting any. It's not perfect but very close and can't even see where the hole was. Make sure you shake vigorously before hand or it barely comes out and very messy

A decent wall spray to use to fix up wall texture issues.

The hard part is trying to match the texture already in place. The can had adequate coverage for my project and the can still feels decently full. The amount of time for spraying to painting was not to long I painted same day.

Great product for home repairs.

I can see that this will fix the patterns on walls to blend repairs. It dried pretty quickly. It is super simple to clean up. Just wipe with a damp cloth.
