I bought this so my car can drive over the cord from where my mobility scooter battery charges to the outlet on the other side. I bought 4 of these to cover the distance: two across and two down the side. Worked perfect. Unrolled and I bent or flexed the ends back and forth and it laid flat almost immediately. No smell.
