Worked as expected
I gave this to my husband to try out and he said it worked like a charm to get a worn bolt out that he couldn't get a socket to extract. Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch him use it so I don't have pictures to post. I received this as a sample and I am sure it will get plenty of use in either my husband's or son's garage. They are always working on an old car or truck restoration project of some kind.
A sturdy tool for nut and bolt removal.
The Apex impact nut and bolt extractor is a handy addition to take less time and energy to complete chores around the home and workshop. I have the "1/2 inch bolt biter unit and feel the other sizes would be a good addition. Shaft fits into power drill or small socket unit for quick removal/installation of even damaged fasteners.
Quality Product
Quality product that makes removing damaged fasteners much easier! The bolt Extractor allowed me to handle a task that had been stopping me from taking care of. Highly recommend.
Works but could be deeper
I used this to tighten the nuts on our pool pump, but the bolts were long so this only got the nuts about halfway down the bolt. If you don’t have that problem, it should work fine.
It bites alright!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since im out on the jobsite a lot. Sometimes i don't have access to a grinder (cordless or wall plug), set of extractors that requires a tool. Therefore these kings of extractors are very handy to have. Just snap them on the drill chuck and go to town! It would be nice to have them as a set, offering various sizes. What doesnt make sense is why would they advertise that you can reuse the same fastener. I mean reuses striped fasteners? Perhaps i...

Pretty nifty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally got a chance to use this nifty little thing. Worked pretty well. It’s very light weight which leads me to believe, it may not last long under heavy abuse but pull off rounded nuts pretty well.

Works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking to buy a set of these for a while but didn’t want to buy a whole set. This worked great for a 1/2” bolt that was stripped on my truck. I wish the shaft was a bit thicker because I saw it twisting a bit but it didn’t snap.
