It was as described. If anything, it was better constructed than I expected. The horizontal bar is thicker than the one it was replacing, so if the child's hands are small, take that into account.

Its very sturdy and the covered chains are great for my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to add to my kids swing set and so far they love it. It is built really well and feels pretty sturdy. There is a covering over the chains near the bar to prevent pinching and injury and it hooked up in a few seconds. I am happy with this item and it ha given new life to the old swing set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trapeze is welded perfectly. It seems like it will stand the test of time. All parts are secure. The handles are nice and wide. The thickness of the grip is perfect for little hands. I'm very happy that it has the protective plastic on the chains. My little ones will get good use out of this for many years.
