$100 worth of parts later….

Bought this unit a year ago and didn’t install it until well after the warranty was over. First time power it up the fan never ran but the heat came on until the thermal cutout shut the whole unit off. After some troubleshooting I discovered the ribbon cable between the front panel and the main PC board had a broken wire. After replacing the ribbon cable the fan ran but I no longer had heat. Nice little unit for the cost

I was a little skeptical that his would heat my insulated 3 car garage. But I got one installed it and have been happy with it. I have been using it for the last week and measuring its performance. In my case it takes about 20 min to make a 5 degree change in the garage. This is a average from 4 different thermometer I setup in different spots in the garage. I got my heater about 2 weeks ago. Great, but doesn’t move much air.

Installed this a month ago and am ultimately very happy with it, when considering the price point. I live in alpine desert geography and this heater keeps up with with the cold. In short, I like everything about this product except one thing. The thermostat is inside the heater itself. This thing puts out plenty of BTU’s for me, but simply does not move enough air. The only way to get it to evenly heat my entire 15x15 shop, is to turn a fan on and assist the heater in moving air around the room....

Excellent Heater, Better than Propane!

The heater heats up my 3 car insulated garage in under 20 minutes to a comfortable working temperate. The outside temperature the first time I fired it up was 30 degrees. The heater is lightweight and very easy to hang with the included instructions that are very clear. I installed it with a single lag bolt into a ceiling truss so that I could rotate it to direct heat to where I am working in the garage. Note that a single bolt is one of the recommended methods. I hung this heater from the ceiling joists in my garage and it works good. I think Lowes has a great price on this and with my military discount, it was a real bargain. After this one worked out so well, I bought a second one for another shed I have. The biggest drawback, as others have mentioned, is the thermostat isn't close to being accurate. Unit no longer works after 1 month!

This is my 2nd review, and I am writing because I've had to return the unit as it is no longer working. I purchased the unit in December 2022, and returning January 2023! It absolutely did the job by heating a brick garage pretty quickly once it worked as expected. Design Flaw

This heater is a good heater, but it has a design flaw. It heats my insulated 350 sq ft shop good enough to work in with outdoor temps down to as low as 10 degrees. It would heat it better if it had an external thermostat. It's thermostat is imbedded in the heater and when the heater is mounted on the ceiling as designed, it will never get to the set temperature.as heat rises and shuts the unit down. Works great with a little help

I have a 900sft workshop, haven't had any cold days to try it out yet. My ceiling at the peak is 15'. I had it on the other morning for about 20 minutes and had to go to the peak to run some duct work for dust collection, and let me tell you it was hot up there. I had to climb back down to remove my hoodie. It doesn't seem to have a very strong fan, so I think if I put a fan in front of it, more heat will reach lower. The good and bad, I replace a 5000w watt heater with this 7000w, It heats up quick and is noticeably faster than the 5000. I have noticed it a bit louder than the old one, it seams to be the rear guarding is making some noise. This should be an ease fix.
