Maybe sat awhile?
I had a tube of this caulk special ordered in because I needed a specific color. It was either a bad batch or had sat too long or something. The first couple squirts looked more like a candy cane. After that it would barely come out, super chunky and stringy. Eventually the back blew out from the pressure pretty much ruining my caulk gun. Be careful!
