Purchased because it fit in the hand and it was bright. Noticed it was not working on night and set off to side , grabbing a backup light. Went to change the batteries and the tray that holds 4-AAA, 2 metallic strips on the tray were burnt . Even after cleaning them the light did not work. The batteries were from the initial Lowes purchase. I'm just glad the light didn't catch fire on the nightstand
