ClosetMaid Multipurpose hook 5-in Silver Steel

Multipurpose Hook 5-in Silver Steel

This is a metal hook/ holder with plastic coated grips on the fork. The metal is pretty thick, doesn't move, and holds a lot of weight. I like it. I recommend installing in wood panel, concrete or studs. I installed it in a horizontal 2x4 so it feels sturdy enough but I would not have felt comfortable using anchors in drywall given the weight of the equipment.

Great for the outside or in the shop

Went up easy and seems sturdy. Everything was there for installation with even a cover for the screws for a concealed/clean look. Will be perfect for an extension cord which always get tangled or a hose.

Nice hook!

Nice hook very secure. I was looking for a hook for my air compressor hose, an this works great. Easy to mount and very secure. It came with several mounting options.

Stylish, strong and convenient

I can always use more hooks for the multitude of extension cords that I own. I installed this hook directly into a stud in my garage, so I did not need to use additional hardware (screws only). I hung two cords (one on top and one underneath). The hook feels strong and stable. It does not protrude much, so the chance of getting caught on it or bumping it are minimal.

Strong hook

Easy to hang and strong. I am using it to hang a power cord for now but my plan is to use it with my car EV charging cord. I am have made the mistake of laying it on the ground and ended up driving on it by mistake. This is going to do the trick.

Sturdy hook for a small space

The product shipped quickly, in good condition. Came with a full set of hardware to cover various mounting needs. I was hanging it on wood so needed only the 2 long screws. Took two minutes to hang, snap the screw cover on and done! For now, my 25 ft heavy duty extension cord hangs neatly on the bottom hook with room to spare, but will probably be moved to the top portion to make room for summer tools. All in all a great little hook that gets the job done.

Works as advertized

This hook is very sturdy and can support more than the two extension cords that I have on it. I don’t use the plastic screw cover cap since it’s in the garage.

Attractive wall hook

I needed a hook or bracket that was strong enough to hold my air hose and some cables. I wanted to get them off the floor. This multipurpose hook worked great. I used it in my workshop, but my wife thought it was nice enough to use in the utility room also. It came with all the necessary hardware to install on drywall or on wall studs, like I did. I pre-drilled the holes for the screws and it went on quickly with a drill driver. The black plastic cover snaps on to cover the screws. It is strong ...

Sturdy wall hook with protective sleeves!

This is a very strong, sturdy set of all-in-one wall hooks, you get the top horseshoe shaped hook and 2 padded “J” hooks below. Other than “Maxload”, I can not find the rated weight capacity on the package, but it is holding up well with the multiple electrical cords I have hanging on it (as the photo on the package suggests). It comes with screws and butterfly type mollies (very good idea) for mounting to sheet rock if you can’t find the stud! I chose to use large wood screws and drill directl...
