Such a great quality made large 3-cube shelving unit! I mainly got this for my vinyl records but found it's sturdy enough to hold so much more. I'm putting in large books, records & was even able to put a small plant on top! Love that it has thick boards, so it's strong and sturdy to support your records, books, etc.(that can weigh a bit.) Super easy assembly - Nice unit

In under 30 minutes, I single-handedly built this shelf unit. I love the style with the top and sides being wider than the shelves. It's very attractive. Upon unboxing all the bits and looking at the enclosed instructions, this looked like a real easy assembly, and it was. It is made of nicely finished veneered particle board, so I'd avoid using it in damp places or for very heavy loads, like machine parts. The written assembly instructions are very sucinct, with a phone number to call for parts and help at the bottom of each page. This is basically compressed cardboard so very fragile. Out of the 2 units I ordered 1 had a huge dent in one of the vertical pieces.
