Pros: If you have a suitable garage door type (sectional?), your torsion bar measurements are valid (1" dia.), wall distances are OK, etc., and you have 120V 1.5A power fairly near your door, this is a great choice. I installed it in about 2 hrs w/ a little more time spent configuring the various My Q options and remotes. It is, basically, hang it on the bar, level it (it is close to start with due to the bar bein level) and tighten it down. Then install the sensors, wall switch, light, and bac...
Excellent door opener
First was delivered next morning. Installed in 2.5 hours and works excellent. Adapts to all Lift Master openers and myQ.

Super quiet and looks great. Sure beats the chain, belt, and screw drive openers. Had to jerry rig mounting the sensors, didn’t like the design. Had I installed it as shown in the BILT video, I believe it would have compromised the roller bearing pathway. Also used existing openings in the frame to mount the lock. Both the wife and I are pleased with the door opener — makes sense not to have a motor repeatedly pulling up the door. Makes more sense to just hook up the opener to the spring rod.
