Great retro light fixture, care needed for switch

Would Recommend

This fixture uses eighteen 40w bulbs. That's 720 watts total! A normal light or dimmer switch is not near that capacity so you must change the switch or change to LED bulbs which draw much less power. Either way, the switch or LED bulbs, can be quite pricey. 18 - A19/E-26 type LEDs, sold in 2-packs @ $5.98, comes to $53.82 before tax. Probably the cost of a new high wattage switch. My old switch was getting hot, that's when I started calculating. Great light though.
