Works great for securing smaller items and/or when needing a good length of rope to wrap around an item multiple times. I am so glad I was able to pick this up from Lowe's! I can definitely see getting many great uses out of it from strapping things down in the back of my truck or onto the back of my bike! It was easy to put together and is easy to use. Highly recommend!

Maybe I did not read the description but these are very thin ropes and incredibly small rachet. Not at all what I need.

Difficult to use
My husband and I were really looking forward to using this ratchet. However, when I went to open and use it I had an extremely difficult time putting it together. I couldn’t get the rope to braid through the specified channel (shown on the picture of the black piece) and couldn’t get it to a usable point. I was also nervous about the safety of having to tie on the other silver hook myself and how it would hold up. Overall, I had a difficult time with this product and did not find it easy to use,...

It didn’t work.
I was disappointed in this tie down. You are supposed to feed the cord through a ratcheting clip. However, I could not get the cord to feed through it no matter what I tried. The hooks and cord are very light weight and I would not trust a heavy load with them. I much prefer bungee straps or larger ratcheting tie downs.

Worked like I expected, my boyfriend tested it out for me as well with his truck. It seemed safe, very durable, was easy to transport and can be used for many different things. We used it to move a couch!
