Damaged upon delivery

Got the email the trailer I waited a month for arrived at my store. I picked up the paperwork then went to the DMV to register and get a plate. Went back to the store and the trailer looks like someone was not very careful with the shipping. Multiple points of damage that cannot be fixed. I bought one of these trailers on Apr 14, 2023. March 20th, 2024, I went to the Helena Lowes where I purchased the trailer and told them about the two hinges that were broken and showed them my receipts. 6x10 wood floor trailer

First of all the wood floor models doesn't have a warranty that covers the wood floors!! From day one if your floor is bad it's on you! I paid almost 4k for this trailer and they won't make it good. Lowes or Carry On will help me. I will never buy anything that is a Carry On product. Lowe's is not that much better!!

Awesome Trailer But.....

This Trailer is fantastic. Super light weight, carries a good load. you can lift the tongue with one hand basically. Add a trailer dolly and this thing almost pushes itself into place. However.... Mine had some faulty wiring that I got no help on. Lowes tried to reach out to Carry-On to no avail and the coronavirus shutdown didn't help. Good value but...

I've wanted a trailer like this for several years, and when I stumbled across this aluminum version at Lowe's, I was hooked. Overall, the quality is surprisingly good for the price, and this is coming from someone who is very picky. Structurally, it's well made, and the welds are sturdy. The side rails are sturdy with a nice radius. The wiring is routed along welded aluminum tubes with plastic grommets that prevent chafing. Carry-On Aluminum trailer

My wife bought this 6 x 10 aluminum trailer for me at Lowe’s December 2019. I have used it for approximately 1500 miles, always with less than maximum allowed weight. It has been great until last month. The ramp/gate fell off on the hi-way during an empty load, yes, the gate was latched. I looked at the hinges where they had cracked and failed... in this order, left, middle and finally right as deduced by the age of crack lines. I have reached out to Carry-On and they only wholesale to dealers.....

Great, lightweight trailer!

I’ve had mine now for about 2 years, and it’s been a great trailer. Pulls nice, easy to move around by hand, and generally nice craftsmanship. I like the placement of the turn-signal lights under the tailgate. Had a knick on the fender when I bought it, but not a huge deal — probably from another trailer next to it on the lot. Not a big fan of how the boards are seated; they capped at the ends with channel which isn’t sufficient enough to keep the boards from warping, and the screws that secure ...

Could be better....

Sadly, the one I purchased had apparently been sitting around somewhere for quite some time. The wood decking was weather-beaten, but I figured it would be easy enough to clean up. The weldments were also messy with sharp barbs in throughout. The drop gate isn't straight and requires welding adjustment. Lowes had four units to choose from, but they all had some sort of shotty craftsmanship. It can all be fixed, but it will cost you. Overall, it is aluminum, and it seems to be a somewhat fair p...

Expensive but worth the price

I've owned iron/steel trailers before and they do the job but require a lot of maintenance to keep them from being rust buckets. I'm continually grinding off rust spots and spot painting. This little trailer is very well built down to the welds. The led's and pressure treated deck are a great additions. At a total weight of only 700 lbs you can easily push it around without a vehicle to put it exactly where you want it when storing. My iron trailer this size weighs 200 lbs more so the carryi...

Aluminum!!!

Expensive aluminum trailer with a wood deck. I have been a certified welder for 38 years and am not impressed with the aluminum welds holding this trailer together. I am sure I will be welding many of these joints again. Would recommend Carry On to find another inspector for their quality control especially when it comes to the welds. The trailer is light and with some modifications I am sure it will do the job.
