Liked everything about it. Two bolts to assemble it, all holes lined up. It is rated at 500 lbs with a two inch receiver, which I have. Loaded it up and left on our trip, probably only had around two hundred pounds on it. 440 miles later we arrived at our destination, was very pleased with the carrier. Repacked everything the same for the trip home, same results. Never knew it was back there. Great value for under $100

It is a good quality cargo hitch. I am not sure I would load 500 pounds on it as it claims it could hold though. It held a few hundred pounds no problem, and I can use it as a stepping ladder to reach to the top of my van.

Large, Sturdy, Reliable

I looked online at several website offering hitch storage baskets, but I could only find ones about 2/3 of the size of this one. They also had a capacity of 300lbs or less. This one has not only a higher weight capacity and more space, but it's also a lower price than the others I had seen. 10/10, it has worked wonders helping me move out of my apartment.

Cheap but very workable

I have a 3 row seat, mid-size SUV. Needed to carry four adults and two children from the airport........plus luggage. Once that third row seat goes up, luggage space is gone. Be careful

Product was damaged, returned, and then sold to us. We had destroyed the box trying to get it open so now we are stuck with someone’s damaged return. 😢

You get what you pay for

Center channel is 1/8" too wide causing the rack to wobble even when the bolts are run down. Top rail was bent when I took it out of the box. Was able to use some washers to fill the gap but really shouldn't have to go through all that. Overall seems well constructed other than that.

Well Made!!!

I'm not sure why any one would give this Hitch Packer any less that a 5. If you have shopped around and seen the tube steel, or the thin aluminum ones with plastic corners. One would not hesitate to buy this item. The one is made out of heavy angle iron with a solid bar steel rail. Is it heavier than others, yes. But this item will last.

Exactly what we needed

Took a family of 6 road trip and needed extra space. Purchased this item online for in store pickup and had it the same day. I did notice the paint issue that everyone else mentioned but was not a deal breaker by any means. My husband had this thing put together and on our SUV in about 3 minutes. Good for Family Trip

I used this product on the back of my VW Atlas for a family vacation, I was able to transport a large Yeti (filled with food) and extra luggage using tie down straps and after balancing the load. My backup camera was obscured of course but no issues with travel.
