Quality issues

Nicks on the legs which took finish off, a crack running along the top of the desk. Pre-drilled holes missing, and one of the legs couldn’t get screwed in because the holes didn’t line up. The most frustrating thing is that because this was a special order and the price is higher now, Lowes will not let me do an even exchange to get a new desk and said I have to pay the higher price. That policy has stopped me from purchasing from Lowes.

Didn’t give 5 stars because...

Firstly, the box is EXTREMELY heavy and sealed with what looked like super glue. It took more time trying to open the box than actually building the table. Secondly, the table was cracked on one side (Lowe’s gave me 10% back or an option to return for a replacement.. Was reluctant to do so due to the box situation. Overall it’s a nice little desk and is as pictured.

arrived damaged

So disappointed that this desk arrived with a dent in the front middle of the desk AND a large gap/knot in the wood on the underside. I would not buy unless you have time for returns and reorders. Also customer service at Lowes closes early for West Coasters.

Arrived Broken

I thought it was odd that the delivery driver left the box in front of the garage instead of on the front porch. I brought it inside and waited until another set of hands could help me carry it up two flights of stairs. Got the legs on, flipped it over and the corner is cracked and is about to break off. Very disappointed.

Nice desk with some QC issues

The desk is a nice look and very functional. The wood looks good and it is a great size for my small house. It did arrive with a broken leg support, however. It wasn't a big deal and I managed to make do and screw it together and it is pretty sturdy now but definitely be aware that they don't quality control this product all that well.That said, I am planning to order a second one for my back office, as I do like the style and size. Sturdy Desk, Damaged In Shipping

Ordering furniture is always a roll of the dice. This desk is everything as advertised except for a pretty large dent on the top of the desk likely incurred during the shipping process.
