Completely Unacceptable for a Premium Appliance

We’ve had this Café dishwasher for only three months, and it has already completely died. No warning, no power, no response from the control buttons. Nothing. A GE repair technician came out and determined that it needs a new circuit/control part. On a THREE-MONTH-OLD dishwasher. Quiet, Stylish and Efficient

I don't love the buttons on the top of the door that control all the different wash modes - it's actually way easier and more setting on the SmartHQ app. I like the flexibility of the very top rack, with dedicated silverware washing zone and the moveable rack for tall or odd shaped items.

Efficient and quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is very efficient and quiet! There are times that I have to check that it is going as it is virtually silent. I am, however, somewhat mystified on why I would require WiFi capability on my dishwasher! It is sort of interesting to be notified that the cycle is complete, however! I may have to explore more capabilities that the WiFi will extend to me.

So Quiet and Tons of Room

Cafe' dishwasher is GREAT

It holds all of my dishes and pots in one load and I love the top rack for utensils and small knives. I really love the feature that I can manage the dishwasher from my phone and receive notifications when the washer is done.

Broke in 3 months

Do not buy this washer. It looks nice, but it’s been a nightmare. After 3 months of use, the dishwasher went completely unresponsive (no lights on, no power, no sounds). We checked the outlet and reset the breaker but it remained unresponsive. We called Bodewell (the services arm of GE) who sent a technician out. They said it needed a new control board which would take 2 weeks. No other solutions offered so now we are without a dishwasher for the next 2 weeks while we wait to get a part replac...

major design flaws

Honestly, don't waste your money on this. While this dishwasher cleans fine, it is a significant downgrade from their older model due to some terrible design choices. -The biggest issue is the adjustable upper rack. If you use the lowering feature, the middle spray arm hits standard dinner plates and the silverware basket on the bottom rack, preventing it from spinning. To actually use the lowered rack, you have to remove the silverware holder and avoid washing plates...which completely defea...
