Can't recommend it enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a little over a year ago and it's been great for everything I need. For context, I live in the North country of New York State and we get pounded with snow. This morning I woke up to 25 inches covering my driveway. This thing was able to clear my driveway in a matter of hours without issue. I would definitely recommend.

Learn to use the transmission
I’ve only had one chance to use this machine since buying it, since I haven’t had another big snow to challenge this machine yet, I can tell you it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. I’m still learning to handle this beast as I have never had a unit this big. I have always had smaller snow throwers (Toro Brand) which have served me well and never let me down. But I have always wanted a BIG unit with power drive, reverse and all the bells. As I’m getting older I want the machine to do...

Should have trusted the reviews not the name.
The auger does not spin fast enough so I end up pushing snow when traveling in the slowed speed while blowing 3 to 4 inches of snow, gearbox leaks oil, and the engine poly stays running with the choke 3/4 closed. If you open it even after warming up the engine surges up and down. Do not buy this product. I have been a huge fan of Craftsman my entire life (50yr) and they are not the company they use to be. Sorry craftsman this hurts to say but your quality is not good. Our last snowfall 6inches....

Snowblower purchase difficulty
Very difficult purchasing item. Tried for a delivery but customer service couldn't put it together. Had to cancel original purchase because a$200 gift card was cancelled after trying to set up FREE delivery. Had to reorder same machine and get $200 cash out to replace gift card.. Total frustration. Machine was delivered without owners manual or extension cord for electric starter. Regular extension cord doesn't fit the starter housing

will not start
This engine on this snowblower is a total nightmare it will not start put fresh gas in it put in a new spark plug but no go. I have been working on small engines my whole life. this engine does not have an air filter and you can't get to the carburetor without breaking it. I know it is not getting fuel to the carburetor the primer bulb does nothing. I have good spark. The only way it will kick over is by removing the spark plug and putting fuel directly into the combustion chamber. It will run t...

Regret Buying
As several people have said it works fine for the first season you own it but won't start the second season. I've worked on it for an hour and now have to decide whether to pay someone to fix it or throw it away and buy a better brand. There were some moronic design decisions too. To remove the cover to the spark plugs you have to remove the entire front assembly to machine since it covers one of the bolts.
