Outstanding

I bought this exact impact in 2020 and the RP variation was not on the market yet I believe. That being said I install solar systems which requires 5 inch 1/2" lags to mount into the rafters. I would do anywhere between 50 - 120 depending on system size per day. The only reason why I don't use it anymore is because it was stolen a few months ago an I bought the new RP version. Worth every penny!

Powerful, Compact, and Durable

This thing has a surprising amount of power. I thought I would have issues with the chuck stripping out since it's not your average 3/8 socket connector, but this thing rocks. I recently had to drill 3 inch lag screws into a pressure treated beam and it had no trouble. I've dropped it from 10 feet, left it in the rain, and gave it tons of general abuse, but it still remains in perfect working order.

A great cordless tool for DIY projects

I have already invested in an extensive collection of Ryobi 18v tools, but decided to try Craftsman because I wanted to upgrade to brushless cordless tools. A holiday sale at my local Lowe’s made the price point competitive with standard cordless tools. I’m a weekend DIYer, and this tool meets my needs with plenty of power to spare. I have battery tools in several tool lines. For the price point, this was a great investment. The battery alone was a deal.

good alternate for dewalt.

I bought this along with the hammer drill when it was on sale. it was much cheaper than the dewalt/more than i wanted to pay. overall it works fine as impact driver. i liked that it was brushless.
