I have mixed feelings about this set. The leaf blower works well. I like how you can toggle between low and high speed. High speed pumps out a healthy amount of air. It is effective at moving damp fall leaves and acorns. The 4 AH battery and charger are also nice. I've used the 4 AH battery with other Craftsman V20 tools including the 7.25 inch circular saw and tire inflator. The battery lasts a long time. Great weedeater but cover the motor air intakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a consumer grade product, I am impressed with how well they hold up on humid Florida weather. I wrap a washcloth around the weedeater motor air intakes to let air pass through but keep the crud out. When cutting wet grass there is alot of spray and fine grass clippings that gets to the motor windings. This has extended the life of my weedeater in particular

Purchased this product for ease of use. However, I am in agreement with the others who had issues with the duration of battery life. Battery died after using blower for 5 minutes. So in total used 3 times and now the battery will not even take a charge. Was really hoping to get away from the gas powered but not if I batteries won't hold a charge.

This was a great purchase. Does the job we needed and holds up great. My only complaint, which was the loss of the additional star was it only comes with one battery and it doesn't last very long so you can't use both tools at the same time and it would be nice, if only using one to have another charging while in use because within an hour it is dead. We have a .50 acre property so we get a quarter of the work done and have to stop to charge for 2 hours.

Good Equipment for Regular Homeowner

Purchased to replace a more powerful Kobalt set, provides what I need. I have a large set of Craftsman 20v tools, this was a natural choice since I have a ton of batteries and complimenting equipment. It's not as powerful as my 40v Kobalt set was, but it handles the work fine. Are they as powerful as some of the more premium sets? No, but they are less than half the cost and I just didn't need the extra power--these work just fine for what I need them for. Would recommend to homeowners.
