Learn MoreCRAFTSMAN® Select 28 is powered by a 272-cc 4-cycle OHV engine. Its push-button electric start helps to eliminate pull-starting a cold engine along with the need to mix oil and gas. Its self-propelled drive features 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds which is designed to provide control and versatility in winter conditions. With a 28-in. clearing width and a 20-in. height intake, you can clear snow quickly with each pass. Sawtooth steel augers are designed to cut through snow and ice with ease while the durable steel auger housing is designed to reduce snow blow out with the angled front edge. This snow blower moves on 15-in. tires which provide traction and easy maneuverability in snowy conditions. The 200° chute rotation allows for controlled snow flow while the durable steel chute allows you to throw snow up to 40 ft. A remote pitch lever helps the operator to easily move the chute deflector up and down for convenience and efficiency. Dual LED headlights help to provide visibility in low-light conditions. The Select 28 features adjustable poly skid shoes to help avoid garage rust stains and protect surfaces from scuffing.

will not start
This engine on this snowblower is a total nightmare it will not start put fresh gas in it put in a new spark plug but no go. I have been working on small engines my whole life. this engine does not have an air filter and you can't get to the carburetor without breaking it. I know it is not getting fuel to the carburetor the primer bulb does nothing. I have good spark. The only way it will kick over is by removing the spark plug and putting fuel directly into the combustion chamber. It will run t...

Regret Buying
As several people have said it works fine for the first season you own it but won't start the second season. I've worked on it for an hour and now have to decide whether to pay someone to fix it or throw it away and buy a better brand. There were some moronic design decisions too. To remove the cover to the spark plugs you have to remove the entire front assembly to machine since it covers one of the bolts.

Driver and helper did a great job. put it where I needed put. explained everything to me. 5 stars all the way for them. I will come back after the frist snow storm and let everyone know how it worked. with a craftsman im not too worried.
