CRAFTSMAN HSS Double-Ended 2-in Screw extractor

Good tool

Very good useful tool

THERE IS HOPE!

I'll start by saying I buy A LOT of stuff! And even when I really hate or really love something, I'm still too lazy to write a review. So this is a huge step for me to be writing this. For those out there like me who have a stripped screw destroying their sanity...THIS. THING. WORKS! I was about to give up hope, tried every trick in the book (rubber band, hot glue, etc). I was very pessimistic when I tried this screw extractor. The first attempt, it didn't work and I was at my wit's end. But.....

Amazing!!!

This worked so well! got the stripped screws out without difficulty!

These darn things WORK!

No handyman here, but had a stripped screw standing between me and a good day. Found these gizmos online among many stripped-screw remedies (some of which I’d already tried, without success.) Didn’t know which size I needed, so bought both No. 1 and No. 2. Size 1 didn’t work, but size 2 got that screw out in a jiffy! Presto! Problem solved!

best little tool ever!

This little tool is invaluable! I have used it to get a hex screw that was stripped out from a shower handle as well as a stripped phillips head screw out from a wall switch in the last week. I wish I had bought this years ago!

Worked like a charm

Just Youtube how to use a screw extractor and you should have no problem. Stripped a Phillips machine screw trying to flip the dryer door on a new purchase and did not expect this to work so easily...Got the stripped screw out in a minute! Great product! Should be in everyone’s tool kit.

Handy screw extractors

I had a full kit of screw extractors and just bought these because some were missing. The quality seems fine and when you DO need these, you'll be glad you have them.

Extraction Accomplished

Worked like a charm on a small, but very frozen machine screw. After checking out multiple instructional videos and reviews I'm convinced that the trick to woking with easy-outs in general is high torque settings and VERY low speed to avoid breaking the tool.

Worked Perfectly

Best $8 I’ve ever spent! I tried everything to get several old, rusty hinge screws out with no success. This extractor got them out in seconds. I wish i hadn’t wasted so much time on it before trying this tool.

Name brand at a decent price

Needed a screw extractor as I have few screws that got stripped and the bit is slipping. Came in handy and ofcourse can't beat the Lowe price!
