Beware of this mower. When the warranty goes out You will not be able to find anyone to work on it. I Have one sitting in my garage collecting dust for this reason.

Small but mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent mower that is small, quiet and cuts grass evenly. The mower runs on electricity and for the size of our yard, we only need one charge to get a full cut. I absolutely love that all you can hear are the blades turning without a loud engine. It is amazing in that it will tell you if the tires need to be aired up or if there are other issues. Such a great mower and perfect for smaller yards. Very comfortable to sit on.

Same issue as everyone else. Won’t start…

Loved the concept but this thing will not start. It tells you it goes through a series of safety checks but it never starts. I’ve never been able to use it since purchase.

Will not start after 2 yrs Close Charge Port Door

This was a nice machine when it worked. After 2 years the mower will not start up. It gave a cryptic error "Close Charge Port Door". Craftsman MTD support cannot troubleshoot this error over the phone. My option is to pay $200 to transport this machine to an authorized service center for diagnostic. It's supposed to be under 3 years warranty but it does not cover transportation charge. I'm familiar with electronics but very disappointed with this machine that offer very little for end user to tr...

Won't start. I advise against this product.

The mower randomly refuses to start. I turn the key and go through all steps when prompted (pressing brake, etc.) but the mower still refuses to start. It is frustrating to be halfway through mowing my lawn, getting off the mower to open a gate, and then not being able to start the mower. I then have to manually push the mower back to my garage and hope it cooperates the next day. Very frustrating.

I really like the look and the concept of this product. I was so looking forward to using it, however the battery wouldn't charge. I don't know if the programable charger was programed, or if it even had a battery in it. But we looked for authorized service centers that would be covered under the warranty and found one. It is in the shop now.

The control module on this mower is terrible

When this mower works, it is amazing. The problem is that the control module barely functions. This is the system that turns on, shows you errors, runs the charging display, starts the mower deck, and allows you to set the mower to run when driving backwards. Lil " Mean Machine

Only one complaint, so I'm going to get it out of the way, Need better Authorized Dealers. With that being said, Awesome Lil Mower, cuts amazing smooth even I had my Mower for a couple years not a problem until I hit a tree root and the Mower shut done and hasn't cranked back up it's been a year. All Authorized Dealers are hours away the one nearest by me that assembled the Mower for me is no longer working on electric mowers. So I feel like I let the Mower down and craftsman let me down.
