I live in Ohio where the weather is cold part of the year, so it does take an additional 1-2 mins to get hot water in the shower or sink in those months, but other than that its been fantastic. I've saved a bunch of money on my water and electric bill since switching to this from a traditional tank. There's a thermostat and it will need adjusted based on how hot your like your water to get if you have it all the way up. hot water stays hot for a long time. never had it run out. Do not buy

Like others, water heater heated while water wasn’t being used and exploded. If we wouldn't have been home, would’ve flooded the whole house, and possibly burned down. Found the bad part, but the manufacturer claims the part is discontinued, even though they still produce the water heater

Exploded on me

I bought it about a month ago. It worked for about a week, then the water got too scalding to work with. About 20 minutes after we found this out, we heard a whistling noise. And then an explosion. Apparently the water boiled and the steam pressure inside the thing caused it to blow up. Seriously, don't buy this water heater ever!

THIS. THING. WAS. HORRIBLE. It worked for a day. After that, things went down hill. First the water went scalding. And after that, it exploded. IT. EXPLODED. I'm not kidding. It was lucky water went spraying everywhere or else my house would've burnt down. The plumber said my water heater heated up so much that the water boiled and it exploded. DO NOT BUY EVER OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
