I Used this tool to cut ceramic floor tile in two different bathrooms. I think it did excellent job. I used clamps to hold the tile and I wore safety goggles and a mask and the tool did not get hot and I really like the plug version that way the battery does not wear out. it was also super easy to change out the blade. The battery life on this thing is not good. I was able to cut maybe 3 pavers with one battery. I think I would prefer the one with the cord.
