What Customers Are Saying
The product has received mixed reviews, with many customers praising its quality, durability, and smooth operation, while others have experienced issues such as the mechanism seizing up, the selector lever breaking, and the ratchet failing after limited use. The product features a comfortable grip and solid construction, but some reviewers note it lacks the same level of smoothness as older models. Customers should carefully consider the potential risks and weigh the pros and cons before purchasing.

Purchased this Ratchet about a year ago and since its a tool I did not keep the receipt. I put it in my tool chest and left it there, it was so shiny that i did not want to get it dirty. I have been using my old oil caked ratchets until on that fateful day I grabbed it to go do some wrenching on my car. The first bolt I tried it on sheared the drive gear off. I have never broken a ratchet in my 50 years on this planet until this day. Each tool carries a lifetime warranty. You can get a replacem...

Ratchet won’t ratchet out of the box!
Just got this as a gift for my birthday a couple weeks ago. Went out to change the oil and spark plugs in my mower and the ratchet broke on the first spark plug. The selector is broke on first use!! How is that possible?!? I have had craftsman tools generationally and I have never had an instant fail out of the box.

I also have n older 3/8 flex head I need to warranty out but no one carries that model anymore??? So what do I do now with these LIFETIME WARRANTY tools🤷🏾♂️

Tool review/ Customer Service rant
Tool Review + All metal construction with a nice finish + Well made internals with very little slop - Pretty chunky for a 1/4" ratchet. - Heavy backlash for a single pawl 72 tooth design. * was initially defective from the store (NEW) - nearly dry internals, disassembled at home, cleaned internals and lightly coated with Superlube (NGLI-0) full synthetic PTFE grease. Reduced backlash, now functions. * a vast improvement to the Craftsman tools offered for the past 15 years. Still a hobbyist/entry...
Only the best
Only Craftsman, only the best. My dad Craftsmans tools date to the 40's. Still going strong!
Very poor quality!
Used maybe half a dozen times and was putting new spark plugs in my truck when the ratchet locked up. Not the same quality as years ago. And now Lowe's doesn't have them in stock.
