What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise the mulching kit for finely chopping grass clippings and eliminating raking, with most highlighting sharp blades and outstanding cutting results. Many report perfect fit on Craftsman T2400 and similar ride-on mowers. However, several criticize the plastic cover as cheap and flimsy, and a few note missing retention hardware or fit mismatches with their mower model. Despite these build quality concerns, most customers find the core mulching performance worthwhile and effective for lawn health.

I bought the craftsman 46 inch lawnmower from Lowe’s. I went to the lawnmower. Description looked up the mulching kit figured they would put the right kit on there. The star drive not the S Dr. and it’s and I had to drive delivered. Figured the system would be a little bit more intelligent than that.

Waste of time

Would Not Recommend

What a waste of time. Thanks craftsman!!! How are you gonna sell this kit for almost $100 and not even include the necessary rod to keep the plug attached. Not to mention the incorrect style blades for the mower. Wasting a huge chunk of my free time.

I've order this item on 2 separate occasions. both occasions, I've received blades with S pattern when I need star, and both times, the box did not contain the metal bar to hold the deck cover in place. I really dont understand why this is an issue
