What Customers Are Saying
The thatching rake is generally effective at removing thatch from lawns, though it may not be suitable for certain grass types. Users found the rake easy to use, though some technique is required to get the best results. The weight of the rake was cited as helpful in reaching the thatch. However, some users experienced issues with the hardware, such as loosening wing nuts or bent blades. Overall, the rake appears to be a useful tool for dethatching, though some adjustments or modifications may be necessary.

Intense upper body work but dont ignore dethaching
Solid product that will last for very long time and serves its purpose. Due to water restrictions, we did not turn on outdoor water for 2 months in spring, this caused of lot of thatch in our lawn, used this tool to remove thatch (16 bags) from my 1700 sq feet lawn area and then applied top soil, i can see grass growing very quickly and greener.

Faulty Head
After not much use, the head moves in the opposite direction during use and makes it impossible to use as intended. It's just a waste of money for something that will not work soon after purchase.

THE BEST thatching rake! So Glad I bought it!
Wow! I got this thatching rake for overseeding. It’s very strong and much bigger than the ancient one I already have. Glad I got it! Worth every penny!

Check for bottom bolts that tighten blades
This works great!! Only advise is to check the two bolts at the bottom that hold that blades at the angle you desire are on the product when you purchase it. We did order pickup and didn't think to check for the bolts at the bottom and recieved one with both missing bolts. When we went back to exchange it, there were others on the floor for sale also missing the bolts. You will definately want it to have those bolts to hold the blades in place at the angle you desire.

Thatching rake
Easy to use, but I had to go online to figure out which end was best. Heavy duty. Seems like it will last.

Does the job
Very sturdy. I do wish it had a lower support handle as it is hard on the back
