Great Portable AC

I bought this a few weeks ago and it works very well. So well in fact that I bought another one last week for my granddaughter’s 3rd floor apartment!

Great item but long wait time on delivery

The process was user friendly but the delivery from one store to the other was very time consuming and took way too long. The heat was unbearable and made for two miserable days. It should not have taken that long for the item to go across town.

works great when it wants to

I've only had this for about a month and a half and it works great when it wants to but on the days you want it to, it doesn't. it is currently 95° in my home and the air conditioner is not kicking on. if you just want a really big expensive fan, this is your animal.

Horrible experience

Bought on line and arrived damaged. Could not use it because the instructions stated to have it sit upright for 24 hours. After plugging it in the compressor made noises and was not cooling. Called customer service and was told a return label would be forwarded to us within 48 hours. Never received the label and now we are beyond the 48 hour return policy. This is the most disappointing online transaction I have ever experienced and based on this I will not be purchasing from lowes again.

Does a good job in a small space

solid little machine. assembling it was pretty easy, and it was lightweight, which was important for getting it upstairs. the bedroom it’s in is probably 12 feet by 20 feet, and it easily cools the whole room. it’s not soundless, but considering its function, I’d say it’s pretty quiet (granted it’s the only portable AC I’ve ever purchased, so I’m not much of an authority). the controls are easy to use, intuitive and Al that. pickup from Lowe’s was really convenient.
