Pricing is stupid

These used to be $1.49 each. Then they changed SKUs (exact same product) and the price went $4.98 for the brown and green ones and $6.98 for the black ones (really? Paint adds another $2 ????). How do I know they used to be $1.49? Some Lowe’s still have some stock (as of this writing) of the cheaper SKU in brown and I’ve been buying them up as I find them. Inflation is bad but 250-550% is just plain thievery. I will look for alternatives.

I purchased 26 sheets of edging to hold back the earth that was messed up when I had my driveway redone. So to beginn with I purchased 27 stakes, which of course were not enough. I went back the next day and got 25 stakes moore. I asked for and got help without any problems. I have to go back tomorrow to pick up moore stakes. Its a good thing that both the ddging and the stakes were easy to install Thanks for your help.
