This 7-ft x 10-ft rectangular floating row cover is made from polypropylene fabric that transmits 70 percent of available light while creating a protective barrier for garden plants. The 1-oz fabric protects against frost down to 24 degrees F and shields plants from harsh weather, birds, animals, and insects. It allows rain and overhead irrigation to reach plants and soil, making it suitable for extending the growing season into early spring and late fall or for insulating strawberries, herbs, perennials, and other tender landscape plants throughout winter. The UV-stabilized material can be cut with scissors to fit conventional-width rows or used as-is for wide-row plantings.
