nothing like the others....
I take ny son to all of the Lowes Build and Grow activities. He loces fire trucks so I figured this would be perfect. This truck was cheap. The wood was super thin. It was nothing like anything he has ever built. I would not say anyone should buy this.

Poor Design - Son Disappointed
My son loves to put together the Lowe's Build and Grow projects. We decided to buy some that he had not done for free in the store. He really is into fire trucks. He was very disappointed when we built the fire truck and realized there is NOT a back wheel that moves. What good is a fire truck that only has a front wheel? I understand that the designer sacrificed the back wheel for a wheel to roll up the "fire hose", but come on - only one moving wheel. Don't waste your money unless you just want...
RECIEVED TWO DIFFERENT TRUCKS
I took both my children to our local Lowe's to build this project. My son is 3 and talked about nothing else for two weeks before the project. Our local Lowe's had two firetrucks on display in the front which got the kids really excited. My husband and i work with our kids individually so it was not until we had finished the project that we noticed we had gotten two different trucks. My son's was the one pictured with no back wheels but with a fire hose in back. I suppose my daughter got the new...
grandson loved it!
very easy instructions and no messy painting. nail holes were pre drilled so my young grandson could hammer away easily.
Kids Fire Truck
I was intimidated by all the pieces at first! Once we got started, it became the easiest product we have built so far. We go to almost every clinic and as a teacher, I have gotten my students involved. Parents love that it is free and their child has a product to be proud of! Students love bringing the products to class to get the other students excited!
the kids are so proud
We go to the Build and Grow Clinics when ever available, Even when out of town. We were in Staunton, VA this past weekend and took my 12 yo, 3 yo, and 10yo cousin. They all had a great time and were very proud of what they made. My 3yo plays with it on a daily basis and not broken it. That says allot about any toy especially one he built. I can't imagine the rear wheels not turning. Good thing the design was updated or it would be bound for the trash. There is something to be said for a toy hold...
Bad purchase
I bought this because the firetruck that we got at the store did not have a siren that worked. The store did not have any extra. I thought I was getting the same thing, but did not. There was no siren. It had only one axle and there were no wheels in the rear. Very disappointed.
