Unreliable and Doesn't Last

I have an older model unit and its been nothing but trouble. I don't use it much, maybe 3 times a year and I take care of my things. Used to inflate my car tires twice a year and blow out my sprinkler. The piston bearing's failed twice which is a pain to replace. Now a control cable broke. It won't reach max pressure any longer and I hate to sink more money into this earlier poorly designed and built model. Great Compressor!

I have had this compressor for almost 4 years and after reading some of the other reviews, I have had no issues that others have had. I run a small business out of Owasso, Oklahoma and have used this compressor for 80 plus fence jobs, trim work, numerous pergolas, roofing a few pavilions I have built, and countless other odd jobs I have done. Never Work Right

I bought this about 2 years ago with a comb kit, never used it until this year. It would fill the tank up, but not refill after I started using it last week. I would have to turn it off and wait about 20 minutes. After waiting I can turn it back on and it would fill up and not refill, again turn off and wait. This weekend it would not fill up the tank and I could not use it.

Four years ago my wife wanted a cheap air compressor that would help with minor projects around the house. Had mine for 8 years.

old girl is still roaring after countless jibsites and an array of pneumatic tools hooked to her. Had to drain her once or twice from condensation but that's normal for compressors. I'll definitely buy another if I needed to.

Great compressor but doesn't last

I have enjoyed the compressor and came with a brad nailer. However, first one I bought quit working after about three months so I took it back for an exchange. Had the second one for a couple of years and same thing happened again - worked yesterday and today won't turn on. Sadly the one year warranty ran out so I'll either need to try and fix this one or buy another one. But I won't buy another Bostitch.

Good compressor bad regulator valve

I've had the previous gen model for about 2 years and I've used it intermittently to do trims around my house. All in all there is less than 20 hours of cumulative use. Recently the regulator valve came apart and just found out that the part is $55. So, rather than replacing a part that might go bad in a short period, I'm looking at replacing the compressor with a different model. Would not recommend this compressor.

Fargin Bastitch

Regulator knob frozen out of the box, got hot and wouldn't fill tank. Think I may have gotten a refurb or lemon, but oh well it's garbage now IMO. Read many online complaints about faulty regulators and replacement woes. Returning and trying the American "superhero" brand instead.

Won't hold more than 60 PSI

Well, sadly I have to agree with the above review. I have had the 6 gallon for a few years now. I have used it mostly for small jobs around the house, bike and car/truck tires, certainly not overused. Now, as above, my unit will not hold more than 60 PSI. Internet has not been helpful with a repair option. I would consider another option.
