I purchased the plunge Router base because it was supposed to be designed to work with Colt PR20EVS Router motor. It did not fit and I could not use it. Disappointed now I have no plunge base for the palm router.

Index pin prevents it from being inserted fully into plunge base. Very common. Can't send photos due to error in this software.

Not compabile with PR20EVS
Router base is not compatible with the version of the Palm Router PR20EVS that I own. The issue is that the index pin on the plunge router base is taller than on the stock base, so not able to go beyond the initial alignment slot and prevent the router to full settle into the base. It make it work, I would have had to file the index pin and void the warranty.

Bosch Plunge Base
This is a great add to my shop. When it comes to inlays this give me more flexability then the big bulky routers. I have more control of my work with greater accuracy. The fixed base has it's place but when doing a plunge type of operation it can get away from you and or hurt you in the process.
