Bosch GTA3800 Aluminum Adjustable Miter Saw Stand

High Quality stand, but doesn't stand

Bought to replace a dewalt stand as this looked skinnier and everything I read indicated it would stand up on its own. Unfortunately, with my Bosch 12" dual bevel miter, the stand will not stand on end and wants to topple over. If Bosch would add a mechanism to support this on its end so it can be tucked away in the garage, it would be fantastic.

Solid stand but leaves a lot to be desired

Seemingly good quality but the design needs work- the wheels are too small, the sliding tracks require way too much force to slide (with saw mounted), the knobs feel cheap, when the saw is mounted it can't be stood upright, it's expensive, and the handles are very uncomfortable unless held in one particular position. Good stand needs work

Got the stand a few month ago really enjoyed the longer arms compared to the gravity stand. However the end caps never stay tightened to the point I have stripped both in a matter of a few months and sadly finding replacement bolts has been a bear However all in all not a bad stand

Disappointment

I have owned this saw bench for 2yrs now and brought it to fill the roll of a pro carpenter/builder . This bench is NOT up to the task of professional use. Excellent concept . Very poor designe very poor manufacture . # the end caps that hold the rollers in place fall off . They do not lock into place # the alignment of the rollers to the saw (bosch gcm 10 sd ) is very poor . T h e saw sits too far forward . I have looked at the bosch saw mounting brackets and cannot move saw forward ...

Solid and well desinged

Not listed in the brochure as compatible fits is the Dewalt DWS779. This is nearly identical to the DWS780 which is listed. I can confirm that the DWS779 does fit this stand with no modifications or adjustments necessary. This stand provides an easy to use and sturdy platform.

Best stand ever!!

Had this stand for 4 years now. Daily in and out of the truck/job site and it's still super solid. Great product!!

Light weight and portable

The lock down latch broke off within 2 weeks of my use.

Great miter saw stand.

I am a professional trim carpenter and have used a wide variety if miter saw stands. So far, this one is easily my favorite. It has the widest material support of any stand I have used. Even wider than the DeWalt 723. It's supports are also much sturdier and convenient. I did add two more material supports after which I had absolutely no complaints. In the future, as I replace saw stands, I hope to get more of these.

could use better end attachment

ends are a problem on mine..if you tighten the fastener bolts so end doesn't fall off then it seem to bind the thumb locks if not tight enough it falls off, Maybe it is just mine but this is my only issue with the unit
