Bosch 800 Series 36" downdraft
I purchased the downdraft unit and the blower separately. You will need an attachment to hook up the blower to the downdraft unit unless you plan on attaching the blower directly to the front panel of the downdraft. This will take up a lot of space and will not be possible if you plan to have drawers below your cooktop. It is made to be installed inside an open cabinet. I paid thousands for my BOSCH Cooktop and separate downdraft for my new construction, only to find out at the time of installation it requires more parts! Now this will hold up progress, cost more, and delay my kitchen completion. For the amount of money BOSCH charges, add it up front (if you really need to) but make sure that everything necessary is included!
