Bosch Dust collection guard (Fits 5-in Grinder Size)

Do Not Buy This One

It has no way to be fastened to the angle grinder. It is loose and dangerous. It does a terrible job containing the dust.

Great grinder, great guard, but no match.

The guard didn't fit the router, but I didn't read Bosch's fine print. Returned both, because the combination was unusable.

This only fits bosh angle grinders!!

I just got one of these angle grinder dust collector’s from Lowe’s today and it doesn’t fit my 4 1/2 inch angle grinder that I got from harbor freight today. It’s way to big and needs an adapter that I can’t find for it so I’m forced to go buy a bosh angle grinder for $90 good job bosh but now I’m not buying anymore of their products because of poor communication to the consumer about their product accessories that are engineered to fit only their brand.

Great quality

Bought for a Bosch 5 in 13amp grinder. Fits as it should. Removable front piece is hard to get off probably cause it’s new but better so it doesn’t fall off when you don’t want it to.

Lung Saver

Tried grinding down thinset without the guard and my house was covered in dust within a matter of minutes. I actually drove across the county to pickup this guard from another Lowes, hoping it would make life easier. This combined with a 6HP wet/dry vac and I would say the concrete dust is all but gone. One thing to keep in mind- most vacuums need a filter bag if you're picking up dust from concrete or drywall. The only issues I had with this one were when the bag was full or clogged. Other...

This saved the day

Used it while removing thinset from old tile floor... the other reviews made me wonder if I maybe tossing money away, but this worked great. I filled 6x16 gallon bags in my shop vac with dust and debris, but could easily work without a full mask or taping up every room in the house!
