The Bosch PS60 12V Max Pocket Reciprocating Saw is the lightweight, compact choice for tight spaces and difficult materials, with a powerful motor and fast performance. This saw is only 11.0 In. long, with an angled handle for balance and control, ideal for overhead use. It weighs just 2.2 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery). But the motor delivers up to 3,000 no-load strokes per minute (much faster than a hand saw), and it is tough enough to cut different types of materials such as copper and conduit. The saw features a durable design and a front rubber-like wrap-around boot, to help protect internal parts from dust, debris and water. The soft-grip top and body allow multiple grip positions for superior ergonomics. It comes with an LED light to effectively illuminate dark work spaces as well as a battery fuel gauge to indicate capacity level. The blade-change system is tool free.

I bought this little saw back a few years ago, shortly after I got kind of sick so didn't do much of anything. Today, one day before the freeze, I open my back door to insulation scattered everywhere. Dogs chased a rat into my garage through the broken hardi and insulation. I pulled out my table saw and it died. SSo I pull out my little bosch saw and it holds up to cut a 46X16 board. Never thought It would hold long enough to cut it all, So this little saw is my life savor.

Would Recommend

Compact but still powerful enough to handle anything I need it for as a homeowner. The blade is a bit short. Not sure if you can buy longer ones but it cut through an exterior door just fine for a pet door installation.

I’ve had this saw for 8 months now and since purchasing it I’ve used it more than my 18V. It’s so compact and powerful for its size and being able to operate it with one or both hands is as simple and easy as breathing. I still use my 18V on bigger jobs that require a bit more power to cut thru the material but for simple cuts or cuts in tight places this is the go to tool. Definitely should be in your tool arsenal to compliment your 18V tools.
