Power Issues

Brand new unit began losing power, couldn't operate under its own weight sitting on piece with 220 grit sandpaper. The power would occasionally ramp up causing swirl marks in the wood. Returning immediately.

it's ok but not great

The dust collection is a joke. They have a rubber O-ring that is supposed to hold the dust collection to the sander but it's an epic failure the bin keeps falling off. Also the velcro base lacks a lot I have replaced mine with factory after the 1st one wouldn't hold the pads after a month. within 2 months the 2nd one did the same thing. I purchased a cheep aftermarket one 6 months ago and its stil doing great. I wouln't recommend this ROS.

I bought this item and was able to use it for maybe 10 minutes before it quit working. It will not even spin under its own weight. Whenever you cut it on it just lugs down and stalls.

Fragile, no durability, motor breaks down often

I had it for 4 months and it just stopped working, just would not start up. I had it repaired under warranty, meh, worked for a while and same problem started again, think it's a lemon. Not a very durable piece of equipment and Bosch does not make it easy to get it repaired.
