The missing link to a wireless home
This is the perfect device to connect all of the legacy devices in your house to your Alexa or Google Home! It is much cheaper to buy one of these than to purchase new switches for ceiling fans and garage doors. The only device it had a problem with was my whole house fan remote, which is kind of a weird setup. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy to get going.

Works but with one exception
Works but it is impossible for this product to provide accurate on/off device state. If you use the original remote after setting up this product, it becomes possible that the product will say that the ceiling fan light is on when it is off. There is a dedicated off button for the fan, itself but not for the fan light. The fan light receives the same signal from Bond and ust toggles betwixt the on/off state. Bond smart device
This device provides the capability to control both RF and IR devices via smart devices (Alexia/Google Home). The biggest capability of this device will be support for RF based devices as these will not be limited to line of sight of the IR type device. In my case, I located the Bond Hub in the room with the greatest number of IR devices. Of course you could always purchase additional hubs, but I’m ok with just the one.
