Price GuaranteeBlue Monster industrial grade, PTFE enriched pipe thread sealant is a slow drying, soft setting, non-hardening pipe thread compound. Blue Monster has a high bulk density, which means there are more solids in the formulation. This allows for the product to be worked into the valley of the threads giving you greater sealing capabilities to fill any voids that occur under different tolerances of pipe and fittings. When applied properly, Blue Monster allows the system to be pressurized immediately after assembly.
Seals threads on all metals, PVC, CPVC, ABS and nylon plastic pipe systems
PTFE provides extra lubrication on metal threaded connections

Light moisture still exists after using
Put a new hot water side spigot on with a 3/4 threaded connection. Used teflon tape numerous times and still had an occasional drip. I see (after the fact) that some have used teflon tape in addition to the Blue Monster sealant but I was not aware both could/should be used. After applying, I am still getting a slight moisture condensation under the female connection end of the treads. I may need to take it off and reapply more but for now just watching it to see if it gets and better or wor...

Needed a sealant for cpvc that was resistant to gasoline..... this is the stuff!

The only cure
