Expecting this to work on a deer feeder tripod

I purchased this item to use on a deer feeder tripod, but I have not placed it into service as yet. That is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I think however, based on appearance, that it will meet my needs to assit in hoisting a feed barrel on a tripod stand. It was the heaviest duty pulley in stock at Lowes.

Blue Hawk Pulley

Seems to be good quality but only time will tell. I bought it to use on our dogs zip line. He has to always be on a leash to keep him from running away. So now he has about 45' back and forth and 125' up and down our yard. The pulley seems well made and strong. I did put some lube on the shaft and bushing since it will be in the weather and getting a lot of use.

Good for work, not for play

I purchased to use on my kid's zip line in the back yard. Though it is simple and sturdy and is a good pulley overall, I needed something that would glide easily on the cable. I bought a zip line pulley specifically for that purpose and will hang onto this one for another project.

Built a fort for the kids...complete with pulley and bucket. This works well in that application.

Kayak overhead storage

Grabbed a couple of pairs to assist with Kayak storage overhead in garage, makes life easier and convenient even to load on truck by backing under and lowering, saves time !

Work light

This work lite was amazing. I replaced my garbage disposal and need a lite under the cabinet. No getting hot and burning your hands or arms. Excellent lite, very bright and stayed in place where ever you set it. Very impressed with the overall cost and quality.
