Better Built 36-Gallon White Rectangle Steel Truck Fuel Vertical transfer tank

36 gallon tank holds 30 gallons. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Just installed this in my truck. Very disappointed. It holds 30 gallons.

Does not have a drain.

There was no Drain at the bottom, I had to drill and weld in one myself.

The price was great and overall quality was excellent as well

Compact fuel tank, decent deal if on sale.

One of the mounting tabs was bent which will be common do to shipping. There was rust on one of the welds already. There is no drain on it.

Garbage metal

0 stars. Garbage. Thin metal and when you install a pump on the 2" bung. It breaks the weld because of the thin garbage steel its welded to. Do not this cheaply made tank, you will regret it!

Not fantastic

Received our tank today. Only has one lifting hook when the picture of the product shows 2 hooks. Also had 2 pieces of molten metal inside the tank that we had to fish out.

Stay away

I was surprised by the poor-looking welds, the warped “flat” surfaces, and the painted-over weld-splatter. Add to that a leaking cap, and seriously amateur-looking welds. Then we get to warranty issues. Ive asked BB for a replacement fill cap, but they insist that I empty the tank of diesel, and return it to Lowe’s where I ordered it. Here’s the catch, Lowe’s “won’t take back anything that has, or has had” fuel in it. So here’s the conundrum, Better Built insists that I empty the tank and return...

Better built tank

The quality of the welds and overall craftsmanship were below par. There was welding slag all over the tank and not removed before paint was applied. The welds on the bolt down legs were missed in a few spots. Only welded to tank and weld doesn't touch other piece. The sides were bowed out and the top was not even flat. I would look at a anthor brand that has better quality control
