Don’t let torrential downpours get your home underwater, let this Basement Watchdog submersible sump pump protect your property. It pumps 2,770-GPH at 10-ft lift and 4,100-GPH at 0-ft lift to remove water before it causes problems. The dual float switch with a protective cage and controller provide double the protection, prevent debris or wires from interfering with float operation and activates the pump when water lifts the float switch. The heavy-duty cast-iron and cast-aluminum construction provides durability, allowing for use in ponds or fountains. The water-cooled motor prevents oil from leaking, while two carbon ceramic shaft seals provide long motor life. The upper and lower sealed ball-bearings provide energy efficiency, to allow for continuous duty operation. Followup after 4 years

Would Recommend

I posted originally 3 years ago about a BWT050 I installed April 2016 as a backup to a Zoeller M98 in a two-pump setup. I live in Central Illinois and my sump pumps run a LOT. It's now been four years for the BWT050. I replaced my Zoeller last month (switch failed and just replaced pump). However I often unplug the Zoeller frequently to let the BWT050 run, and run a lot. Other than some paint coming off the aluminum housing that is submerged, I have had no issues with the BWT050, or the flo...

Good value and a hard worker

Would Recommend

I purchased a pair of these five years ago. Each of these come with a 3-year warranty..so I figure I am ahead by two years. Both units have a hard job, my sumps are continually filling with water and these two pumps operate multiple times each day, and for the last five years. These pumps are easy to install and they are robust.

Excellent pump for the money.

Would Recommend

We installed this pump about a year ago and it's been excellent. Previously, we had an old pedestal sump pump that struggled to keep up with our high water table. So far so good it keeps our basement dry, the only I still should do is pickup a standby battery.
