The batteries are both dead as a doorman and I can’t do anything with that! We go to charge them and they say bad battery.

bought this and unfortunately after it arrived it rained for a week or two straight. finally had a day to use it and I realize the batteries are completely dead and the charger just flashes red. so since I was already in the middle of mowing I just grabbed one of my other batteries and finish the job. unfortunately both because it was used and because it was outside their 30 second return window (or whatever the extremely short time frame was.) Batteries won't charge

I bought this set and tried to charge the battery. After a couple of hours, still flashing red. Tried charging the other batery for 3 to 4 hours. Still flashing red. I knew I should have splurged on the EGO.

Dead batteries

The tool set arrived quickly, two days via FedEx. I'm sure they'll be fine once I can use them. They replace an 18-volt set I've had for over 10 years. Unfortunately, both batteries are apparently totally depleted, which apparently is a problem with Lithium batteries. The charger won't recognize either battery, and just flashes red. So I'm left looking for a way to boost these batteries out of hibernation. I'm not really set up for that. I have no other 20v batteries. The set is useless without ...

The 2 batteries that came with the trimmer and blower will not charge. I have tried my charger and another charger on them and they will not charge. Very disappointing!!

Batteries do not work

I love this line of products. I have many items in my tool kit. I bought this set to replace a weed eater that I've had for 10 years. It was a great run. I love the blower and weed eater that came with this set, however part of the reason I purchased this set was for new batteries. The batteries were flashing red out of the box and have not charged. Sadly. I received an oscillating tool from this line as a gift and the battery that came with it had the same problem. As much as I love these tools...

Terrible battery life

I recently purchased the Black + Decker 20V MAX Axial Leaf Blower and String Trimmer/Edger Combo Kit and was highly disappointed. While the tools have good power, the battery life is terrible, lasting barely long enough for small tasks and requiring frequent, lengthy recharges. The leaf blower performs well but is hindered by the poor battery. The string trimmer/edger has decent cutting power, but the automatic feed spool is unreliable.
