Great planer
My cousin had one that I borrowed. I liked it so much that I bought my own. I made tables from b look back walnut and without it, I'd still be standing. It made the job go much faster.

THIS IS NOT A 4-BLADE PLANER!
Regardless of what the PR people say, this is not a 4-blade planer. It comes with 4-blades including 2-spare blades, but it only uses 2-blades at a time. That aside, it does the job it is intended for very well. The only problem that I've had with it is the operator. It comes in a very strong/protective case (UPS proved that), and includes a very complete kit of accessories. Parts are readily available from B&D, and I've found B&D to be very responsive to customer requests/inquiries as is Lowes ...

It survived UPS. So, it must be tough. They must have thrown it clear across the warehouse because there is a significant implosion on one corner of the case. Otherwise, everything was received in good condition. The first thing that I noted is that it is not a 4-blade planer as advertised...it comes with a spare pair of blades but only uses two at a time. I also learned, when I registered it on the B&D website, that a lot if not all of the parts are interchangeable with its DeWalt counterp...
