Don’t buy this product!
I used this coupling in a water heater job and because of the design of the piece it leaked even using gas tape with 4 wraps and pipe dope. I ended up purchasing a different style of coupling and it held in the first try.

One side was not threaded like it was supposed to be. Some of these should be by the garden hoses so you aren't searching everywhere.
